Is Twig always tracking me ?
Twig never tracks your phone in realtime and share information with anyone unless you decide trigger a panic alert. Your location data during check-in, is only captured for that moment in time and shared only with your emergency contact when you haven't checked in for over 12 hours.
Is there a free version ?
While Twig is free to download, it does require an active subscritpion to use. This helps us to cover all the expenses in providing the services for the app and also ensures that we don't rely on Ad revenue or monetizing your personal data. We will always value your privacy.
How do I cancel my Subscription ?
Cancelling your subscription be done at anytime by easily managing active subscriptions for your App or Play store account. See steps below if you are using iOS or Android:

How do I check-in ?
On the Home (timeline) screen, simply tap the check-in button. The check-in button is the button with your avatar. If you long press the check-in button, it will also check you in but with a sleep status.
You can check-in as often as you wish.
What happens when I check-in ?
When you check-in, your status will be updated either immediately or in a few seconds and anyone who is following you will be able to see the time that you checked-in and your status color which should be green.
What do the status color mean ?
Green status color means that you've checked-in within the last 9 hours.
Blue status color means that you checked-in within the last 9 hours with a sleep status
Amber status color means that more than 9 hours has passed since your last check-in.
Red status color (critical) means than 12 hours or more has passed since your last check-in.
What happens if I don't check-in?
If you don't check-in, the app will automatically update your status based on the elapsed time. Once your status reaches Red which means 12 hours has passed since your last check-in, an SMS will be sent to your emergency contact with your last known location address.
You will also be sent a push notification, to remind you to check-in.
What devices can Twig be installed on ?
Twig will only be available for iOS and Android for the time being. As we continue to improve the app and add new features in the future, it is likely to be availble for other platform and devices.
Where can a view your Privacy Policy ?
You can view the Privacy Policy by going to your profile and tapping About. Additionally, the Privacy Policy can be viewed here .

Accepting Follow Requests
Ensure that you verify with your follower when they send you a request for approval that their username and email matches their account.
Do not approve follow requests from unknown accounts. If you think you accepted a request by mistake, simply tap on the delete button by the account name in the followers list to have it removed.

To update you avatar, ensure that you accept the permission request to use the Camera or device media when prompted. If you had previously denied the prompt, open the Settings app and browse to your privay options for Twig from the list.
